"Password Protection" uses a secondary authentication system to prevent bots from accessing the WP backend.
It allows admins to setup a secondary authentication system on the blog (second username and password), which will be used to query detected bots before providing them access to the WP admin panel, even if they broke the first login system.
There's also a secondary protection system, which will not allow direct access of the login page unless with a valid redirection header coming from the site's frontend.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
